I will probably hold off on this due how complex my idea is.

My idea is basically a re-take on C++.
There are a lot of things about it that I think should be removed or altered.

A few examples of changes I want:
- Remove exceptions entirely, in favour of
std::expected and std::optional
- Remove
std::wstring and deprecate its char type in favour of the regular string object (as std::string is UTF-8 capable) (cannot remove the char type due to the language being a C superset that needs full C compatibility).
- Make class members, functions and inheritance public by default
- Forbid
structs from holding functions, except in a C-style manner (function pointers) and lambdas/std::function.
- Remove operator overriding. If you need custom add/subtract/multiply/divide/e.t.c. behaviour, it should be a function that must be explicitly called.
- Emit a warning when using enums instead of enum-classes due to namespace pollution
- Better handle warnings to make more sense (e.g. make semicolon errors actually appear on the line that needs the semicolon)
- Allow using
and and or in place of && and ||
- Allow using
constructor(...) in place of ClassName(...) for class constructors. Ditto for destructors
- Have more int/uint fixed-width types, up to 1024 bits (128 bytes).
- Any
C file, whether it be a header or source file, should automatically get placed into an extern "C" block (based on the file extension .h (I'm aware some C++ devs use that extension too. They shouldn't! They should use .hpp!!!))
