like yeah we asked people for all their criticisms and it could really fuck over people in rural environments. or who are harassed and bullied irl, or queer teens in unsupportive families, or cut children off from their friends and support networks, and people's data could get leaked or their accounts deleted, but we decided we don't fucking care and are going to do it anyway

oh and lets not forget they rushed this shit through in like 5 days and only opened up for like submission for around 30 hours ignored submissions from fucking UNICEF and the human rights law center saying "hey guys, we didnt have long to make this but WOW this is a terrible idea how about you do education on how to safely use social media or even limit the intentionally addictive algorithms or something"
