I basically haven't ever done that before, I've listed down like reference information for a game like fez, noting codes and unsolved mysteries, but just putting an entire puzzle to paper to try and work it out offline is new
I had been really really stuck on a translation for a couple of days and I just couldn't work it out, and since I'm going to be away from my computer for a couple of days I physically wrote down the input transmission onto a piece of paper so I could work on it while I was away. and as soon as I was finished and about to start writing a section to catalogue incorrect guesses I tried a random one word answer and it was correct LMAOOOO

god the whole kde drama was so stupid, after kde made a thread addressing it and at the end said something like "and if you don't like our decisions go try a different software" and there were a bunch of dickheads going "oh look the just go fork it argument" and it's like, no, that's not what they said, that's not what they meant, other desktop environments already fucking exist, people have made them, you can switch, you don't need to fork kde you fool, you absolute simpleton
at the end of each ingame week you get a log/diary entry from each named character and get to make one yourself, and at the start i was just shitposting but it has grown steadily more earnest as time has gone on and now they basically arent shitposts at all and are closer to actually being the thoughts of a character working on decoding the signals and OUGHAUHG
